Those are good for person to study other language, but it also has some drawbacks. Such as,1. not most student will have enough self-control to put the listing of the language in it. 2. ipod is not cheap for some families. 3. it's bad for person's ears if they listening ipod for a long time. 4.the grammar of songs are not enough correct. These are my opinion of the school requires teacher to use ipod to teach bilingual students.
